Karan Johar returns with the high­ly antic­i­pat­ed ‘Kof­fee With Karan Sea­son 8,’ set to hit the air­waves on Octo­ber 26, 2023, exclu­sive­ly on Dis­ney+ Hot­star. The inau­gur­al episode of this sea­son will fea­ture the dynam­ic duo of Ran­veer Singh and Deepi­ka Padukone. Sea­son 8 will rein­tro­duce Karan’s sig­na­ture rapid-fire seg­ment, along­side var­i­ous new games to spice up the show. Dur­ing the show, Deepi­ka shared that Ran­veer bears a strik­ing resem­blance to Rocky Rand­hawa, a flam­boy­ant char­ac­ter from West Del­hi, in Karan’s direct­ed film “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.”

How­ev­er, Shah Rukh Khan, who made appear­ances in the first three sea­son­sand lat­er returned for the fifth sea­son, has opt­ed to skip Sea­son 8 as well. Karan Johar acknowl­edged SRK’s absence, stat­ing, “Shah Rukh is a part of the show, but it seems he prefers to remain in the back­ground. He deserves his moments of silence, which we, as fans and fel­low film­mak­ers, should respect.”
